The main motivation of this German physician’s trip to Iran was to follow the ancient path of “Parseh” (Persepolis) to “Pasargad” (Cyrus Tomb) like the ancient people of Iran, with a noble horse.
Amir Miri (Aghamir) was the person who hosted the German tourist in his eco-lodge for a few days. He also arranged Erlkia’s program in accordance with health & safety standards.
He told reporters: “Erlika was in Iran last week. I don’t know how she managed to go to the heart of Iran in these conditions. She started her journey from Isfahan and then came to Yazd and Fars.”
He explained about the tourist’s equestrian program: “Years ago, one of my ideas was to travel by caravan between Pasargad and Persepolis.” To run this caravan, we had to raise purebred horses.
“Dareshori horse” is one of the native breeds of Fars. Equestrian riding is one of the experiences of foreign tourists. Acording to him, Equestrian club horses are similar to a restaurant food and they operate in a similar way all over the world. But, native horses are like local food. They are among the ecotourism attractions. Moreover, each horse performs differently depending on the climate and its owner’s behavior.
Miri continued: The launch of this three-day travel package from Parseh to Pasargad takes a lot of time and energy. So, you have to work hard to make it happen.
Simultaneously, with the outbreak of corona and the closure of tourism, one of the applicants for this trip was Dr.Erlica from Germany. She believed that the coronavirus should be fought against. Therefore, one way to fight this is to have a strong body and eat nutritious foods. Despite all the difficulties, Erlika became our first guest in 1399 (Iranian new year).
The German doctor’s visit to Iran came at a time when the world was terrified of the Coronavirus outbreak and was experiencing an unprecedented quarantine as travelers returned home. Even the host of Erlika was astonished.
Miri said that the risk of traveling to Iran in this time and the experience of riding in the ancient route of Parseh and Pasargad and around the palaces of Cyrus in Pasargad, was surely a life changing experience.
